How did you get involved in Roller Derby?
My bestie (shoutout Medusa Cruise ❤️) played for CTR for years and introduced me to derby after I rewatched Whip It and expressed that doing a sport like Roller Derby would be amazing!
Proudest moment as a Derby Athlete so far? Being able to play this sport that I love, with the people I love on the international stage more than once. And now being accepted into Team SA and having the chance to represent my country amongst the best Roller Derby player in the world!

Why I need your support:
Roller derby has been my passion and a physical outlet for the past nine years. I’ve had the privilege of skating with two leagues in South Africa (Cape Town Rollergirls & Golden City Rollers) I have represented GCR internationally in two tournaments in 2022 and 2024. This sport has given me a community of like-minded people who push me to be my best. From winning Best Blocker at A-Frican Good Time in 2020 to still being known as the best booty around SA derby, my journey has been incredible and I am excited to showcase my skills at the Roller Derby World Cup with the highest skilled players in the world. Your donations help grow the sport, make travelling a reality, and helps us be able to compete at the highest level. Thank you for your support — it means the world to me and my derby family!
Please note that 25% of your contribution goes towards Team South Africa Roller Derby costs to get the team to Austria (accommodation, transport, etc), as well as processing fees.
The rest of the donation goes directly to the person you are supporting, towards whatever they need to get them and their skates/brains to the World Cup.
