Every time I strap on my skates and hit the track, I’m not just chasing a dream – I’m honoring a memory and fueling my healing.

My derby journey might have begun over a decade ago, but I only really started skating after life took a devastating turn in 2021. My precious daughter lost her battle to Ewing’s sarcoma. The 15-month fight was a rollercoaster of emotions, and her passing left an unfillable void.

In 2022, I made the decision to return to derby, seeking solace in the sport I once loved. The track became my sanctuary, my teammates my support system, and the thrill of competition my therapy. Derby has been my medicine and contributes greatly to my healing, helping me find strength, community, and new purpose…a reason to look forward to the future once again.

Now, I’m setting my sights on the World Cup, and I need your help to get there. As an independent athlete, I rely on donations to cover training expenses, travel, and equipment. Your contribution will directly impact my ability to compete at the highest level.
